is to build
a t-shirt launcher for the
DEC 12 blazer game

Valve Body

  • Cut 2" holes in Freon tank

  • Cut ports in black pipe
    near the end

  • Weld ported pipe
    into Freon tank

  • machine smooth
    (thanks ASAP Fab for the
     use of the large lathe)

Valve Core

  • cut UHMWPE to length

  • turn in lathe to .010"
    inside diameter of valve body

  • cut groove for o-rings
    (thanks Arlington Parts
    for use of Small Lathe)

  • assemble plunger mechanism
     and set lock nuts for
    open and closed position

  • lube piston and O-rings
     with silicon grease

BREECH LOADER- the only mechanism like it at the contest. allowed for 10 second load/launch cycle time.
Slide open.....LOAD projectile ...Slide Closed------->FIRE


 

Muzzle brake reduces tumble of t-shirt and increases range.  7/8" holes finished filed before paint
