MAY 10, 2010, the Honker team was hosted by
INTEL and the Portland Beavers to launch t-shirts as part of the
ART and SCIENCE of SPORTS day at PGE park.. YEAH, the BEAVERS WON... AGAIN!



headed for the upper deck of 218


practice.. some early comers got a free t-shirt!

the game  broadcast on FSN (not sure if WE got on .. hopefully) and we had some radio spots(theoretically) on 970...

    PGE was awesome.. the weather broke for us and we rocked it
     

    PGE had rather Low attendance...
    but it was a MONDAY after numerous home games in a row AND the weather was questionable Monday morning

    The nice thing about having fewer people there is that the shirts can be concentrated into sections... instead of spread around the park.

this one hit the fascia of the roof.. better dial back
 the pressure Evan!

we used talcum powder on the shirts... nice visual impact along with some survey tape to rattle and help stop the tumble thereby increasing accuracy.
TY (red head) launched them all... 3 people makes it work fine but you can do it with a "rigger" and a "trigger" 30 shirts in under 10 minutes.
 
We hit all the way from the field level bar to the upper section 218 banners over the the crowd and the roof fascia.. lol

Ty and Evan  popped 2+ into the luxury boxes behind home plate...
and hit every section at least 2x

 

The security guard praised us for not causing a riot by moving around so the fervor was mitigated as they cheered for the other location.
only one unwrapped on launch... landed in the field box.. that worked out
