YUCK choke adjustment screws choke assembly  
exploded carb on the table.... what was that that hit the floor? plunger... may need a kitTHERE WAS THE plugged jet  
lower bowl, float and main jet CLEANready to go back in boss
Tore the whole thing down... it may need a kite eventually... but for now it is fine

cleaned everything... found a clogged jet...
that explained the rough engine starved for gas at lower RPMs
nothing like a nice CLEAN carb on top of a good looking motor
setting the valves and adjusting the timing
