Ethan has participated in rodeo since the time he was 4.  He competed in the first ever Junior High Riders Association wrangler division for the state of Washington his 8^th grade year.  There, he received the bull riding title, co-champion for chute dogging, and co-champion all around.  He has been the Oregon Junior Bull Riders Association state champion 3 times in bull riding.  He has gone to nationals for OJBRA about 6 times.  For high school rodeo he has finished 21^st in state his freshman year, won the state title last year as a sophomore, and is hoping to become champ again this year!
