
Mrs. Brown is the head of the department
There is no rotation to the classes being taught from year to year or from semester to semester.
Pre-Algebra is taught during 6th period everyday.
In order to get into Pre-Algebra, you have to pass 8th grade math!
The primary text used in this class is Addison Wesley, but will change next year.

| Is it a state CIM requirement if so, what is it to get the CIM? |
| You have to pass the MPS State Test, Multiple Choice State Test, and 2 MPS Work Samples, at the CIM level. |
| Is it an elective or a graduation requirement? |
| 2 yrs. minimum are required to graduate and also a minimum score of 225 on the Math Multiple Choice is required for graduation! |
