Shop class takes place during First Period. |

What's Taught? |
Hand and power tool skills, construction techniques, wood and metal, structural engineering, tool and shop safety. Also, Utilitarian design, some elements and principles of design, and technical drawings. |

Text books? |
The Shop class uses Safety manuals, mechanical drawing handbooks, tech books, and operational equipment manuals. |
|
Required? |
Industrial Arts is an elective class.
It is not required to graduate. |
