• Eight (8) new apartment units each equipped with ADA compliant bathrooms, kitchens and laundry.

• External entrance with landscaping and maintenance included.

• Transportation to appointments and activities available through Gilliam County Special Transportation.

• Centrally located common area for entertainment and social activities.

Where is it to be located?

• Columbia Hills Manor will be built on the corner of Hemlock and Third Streets, overlooking the beautiful city of Arlington, Oregon.

How much will the facility cost?

• The current estimated cost of this project $1.8 million.

How will the project be paid for?

• Private investors, grants, in-kind services and loans.

What impact will this facility have on our community?

• Columbia Hills Manor provides independent living options for local seniors, allowing them to downsize to a more convenient and easy to manage living situation. This means they can stay independent longer, all while remaining in their own community, near family and friends.

• This independent living option is available to area residents 55 and older, including low income availability.

• Citizens who live in our community will now have a quality option to bring their aging friends and relatives closer to home.

Who will operate the facility?

• Columbia Hills Manor is a non-profit organization operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will hire a property manager specializing in non-profit administration to oversee daily operations and facility staff.
